What makes a great night’s sleep?
What manner of sleep is the most rejuvenating?
Want to find out?

The IASH Healthy Sleep Project
A Worldwide NLP Research Project

Robert Dilts, Suzi Smith and Tim Hallbom are excited to announce the first worldwide modeling project for IASH, the NLP Institute for Advanced Studies In Health: What makes a great night’s sleep?

If you’re a Master Practitioner of NLP, here’s a chance to brush up your modeling skills and develop cutting-edge tools to improve health and well being—and you don’t need to travel or buy anything. Just go to the IASH website to join a team or start a team in your area. IASH will get you started and keep you informed about what the other teams are finding.

Once the initial teams have formed, the project will have four stages:

  1. Starting in February, regional teams will model the structure, beliefs and criteria of people who regularly sleep well and wake up feeling great. How you model and whom you model is up to each team. IASH will provide some ideas to get you started, and you’ll have plenty of time to explore: six to eight months!

  2. Late next fall, IASH will share all the models with every group. You’ll have a month or two to look at what everyone else has done.

  3. Then—the most creative part—develop the actual processes so that someone who has trouble sleeping can learn to sleep in a way that supports being really healthy. As your team gets a process in shape, you’ll want to test it to be sure it works well and then refine it, because the more you test and refine the better it will be. Again you’ll have lots of time, at least six months to get your technique reliable and elegant.

  4. Finally, all the teams meet at the IASH conference in 2010 to share and teach their results. (If you can’t attend, modeling teams will still be able to access the final processes through the IASH website.)

To join, log in and post a message in the Sign Up area. (See Details)

Thanks for joining and have a really good night!
